Overview
Why this system exists
In single-phase immersion, servers are fully submerged in a dielectric fluid that boils at a temperature far above any component's limit. Heat leaves the tank through a heat exchanger to the facility water loop. Fans disappear, dust disappears, and the acoustic signature of the hall drops to a hum.
Our IM tank integrates the circulation pump, heat exchanger, level and temperature monitoring, and a lift-assist lid for server access. A 40U rack equivalent fits in roughly half the floor area of the air-cooled version, at a PUE near 1.03.
